Job summary

You will align mechanical and electrical design with continuous improvement to enhance production efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve quality.

As a strategic partner to the COO, you will bridge engineering design and manufacturing execution, ensuring seamless integration of generator enclosure and switchgear projects

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience in industrial manufacturing or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, structural design and electrical integration processes.
• Experience with CAD software and ERP/MRP systems in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Partner with Sales, Design Engineering, Project Management, Operations, and Quality Assurance to ensure project execution before production.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Analyze bottlenecks in sheet metal fabrication, welding, coating, and electrical integration to improve throughput.
• Evaluate CapEx investments to modernize production and support growth.
• Lead CAPA investigations to prevent recurrence and improve performance.
