Qualifications

Four-year engineering degree (Electrical or Electronic preferred) with 5+ years in industrial/manufacturing settings.
Extensive knowledge of steel manufacturing methods and automation technologies.
Experience in scrap processing, melting, casting, rolling, finishing, shipping/warehouse operations.
Ability to train and coach employees, strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, products, and production within electrical and process automation systems.
Develop and implement new standards, structures, systems, and equipment.
Coordinate improvement activities with supervisors, staff, and department management.
Train and coach employees in automation technologies and development activities.
