Infleqtion is seeking a Director of Engineering Operations to lead the QSS engineering lifecycle from concept to manufacturing transition. This role establishes scalable processes, governance, and evidence-based decision-making across multiple disciplines and sites.

The position oversees Quality, Configuration Management, Document Control, and Laboratory Operations, ensuring compliant, repeatable practices while enabling rapid, high-quality product development and transition to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or related field.
• 12+ years in engineering leadership or complex product development.
• Experience governing major technical reviews and lifecycle gates.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering lifecycle from concept through manufacturing transition.
• Establish scalable, stage-appropriate engineering processes.
• Lead Quality, Configuration Management, Document Control, and Lab Operations.
• Govern gate reviews and product releases with evidence-based decisions.
• Develop and maintain engineering tools, workflows, and data management.
