Infleqtion is seeking a Director of Engineering Operations within the Quantum Sensing Solutions (QSS) group. This leader will own and continuously improve the engineering operating system that enables multidisciplinary teams to develop, control, review, release, and transition complex quantum technologies and products from concept through manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or a related field.
• 12+ years in engineering leadership and complex product development.
• Experience with AS9100 quality systems and regulatory readiness.
• Proven ability to establish and govern major lifecycle gates and technical reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering operating system and lifecycle governance from concept through manufacturing transition.
• Lead Quality, Configuration Management, and Document Control for QSS.
• Establish stage-appropriate governance and enforcement of gates and evidence requirements.
• Coordinate cross-site and cross-discipline engineering activities with enterprise alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and knowledge management.
