Job summary

Anovium is seeking a Director of Engineering to partner with the CTO in driving strategic technical initiatives within a well-funded startup in the logistics space. You will lead engineering teams to deliver high-quality products rapidly and establish scalable processes.

You will oversee day-to-day engineering priorities, shape the architecture direction, and drive continuous improvement across the engineering organization while maintaining a strong emphasis on collaboration and practical

Qualifications

• Deep understanding and experience in logistics or related fields.
• Deep understanding of transportation management systems.
• Experience architecting efficient technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
• Meaningful previous experience overseeing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Top-Level Support: prioritize and manage tasks to reduce the day-to-day engineering management burden on the CTO.
• Engineering Pod Management: oversee and coordinate engineering teams or pods for effective collaboration.
• Triaging Issues: assess and categorize engineering and technical issues for prompt resolution.
• Leading Solutions Architecture: guide robust solutions architecture aligned with business goals.
• Advocate for Technical Debt and Backlog: represent engineering needs in product meetings.
