Job summary

Order.co is seeking a Director, Engineering Operations to build the operating system that translates strategy into measurable product and business impact. You will align Product, Engineering, Data, and Finance to deliver outcomes with clear ownership and disciplined execution.

You will define KPIs, drive executive updates, and lead capacity planning across teams while using AI-assisted tools to improve synthesis and decisions, balancing risk and delivery health.

Qualifications

• Leadership in engineering/operations or equivalent in a SaaS/product-led tech company.
• Exceptional executive communication and proven ability to link work to business impact.
• Knowledge of modern product development and software delivery lifecycles.
• Experience with resource, headcount, budget, and capacity planning.
• Strong analytical judgment and trustworthy reporting from diverse data.
• Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional decisions and manage risk.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve synthesis and planning while safeguarding data.

Responsibilities

• Translate company and product strategy into measurable outcomes, OKRs, and KPIs with clear owners, baselines, targets, and data sources.
• Develop a balanced view of customer impact, delivery effectiveness, quality, reliability, security, and efficiency.
• Partner with Data, Finance, Product, and Engineering to improve instrumentation and KPI-driven decisions.
• Design and operate portfolio planning cadences across Product and Engineering dependencies and capacity.
• Facilitate prioritization and sequencing decisions with explicit trade-offs and decision rights.
• Define and continuously improve a lightweight software delivery lifecycle from discovery to learning and adoption.
