Job summary

Prometheus Group is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the EH&S product line. This hands-on leader runs delivery and writes code when needed, working directly with developers and customers on calls to ensure outcomes.

You will own end-to-end delivery, maintain quality and schedule, and translate technical work into commercial terms for non-technical stakeholders while guiding a growing team in a cloud-based environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a player-coach engineering leadership role.
• 2+ years managing a team of 15+.
• Experience integrating with ERP and document systems.
• Willing to write and review code as needed.
• Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
• Experience deploying to the cloud for customers.
• Cross-functional work with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S engineering team as hands-on leader, coding and delivery.
• Own end-to-end delivery for the EH&S product line: quality, schedule, outcomes.
• Join customer calls alongside developers to experience customer view.
• Bridge engineering to non-technical stakeholders in commercial terms.
• Step into trenches to pick up tickets and unblock the team.
• Own integrations with customer-owned systems such as ERP and document systems.
• Keep team financially aware of budget and timeline.
