Liberty Mutual Group is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the Property & Specialty Delivery portfolio in the USRM Technology organization. Qualifications

• More than 10 years related experience with 5 years in leadership.
• Proven experience leading a large-scale software engineering delivery engine across distributed, multi-domain teams.
• Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) or Specialty insurance preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, and their business application.
• Strong communication and negotiation, facilitation and consensus-building skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing engineering team of ~150 FTE and contractors.
• Define and advance the technology strategy and drive cross-functional partnerships.
• Translate business priorities into technology initiatives and enable growth and profitability.
