Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Director of Engineering to provide leadership for the Engineering functions, align resources with PMI-based processes, and drive the development, commercialization, and support of market-required packaging equipment. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and focus on product cost reduction and process automation.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree required.
• Experience in manufacturing leadership focused on total customer satisfaction.
• Project management training such as PMI Basic Skills is required.
• 10-15 years managing multiple project teams of technical professionals.
• 5-10 years capital machinery design and development experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategy and leadership for Engineering to deliver reliable equipment on time.
• Coordinate sold-order processes with cross-functional teams.
• Lead product improvement projects and support manufacturing.
• Develop market-relevant, high-quality products and improve facility ROI.
• Redesign documentation workflows to increase automation and efficiency.
