Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years related work experience with 5–10 years in a management role over an engineering department.
• Experience with FAA, EASA and DOT policies related to Aircraft Fire Suppression and Safety Systems.
• Strong mechanical engineering skills with exotic stainless steels; experience in short-run production is required.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking of English and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct department activities and develop policies for design, production, and testing.
• Set goals, institute operational policies, and coordinate activities across engineering.
• Establish best practices for FAA FAR component repair solutions and DER repairs.
