Job summary

AMETEK Rotron in Woodstock, NY is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead an 8–15 person engineering team across Electrical, Mechanical, and Aeronautical disciplines. The role focuses on advancing technology, modular design, and meeting customer specifications while driving continuous product improvement.

You will report to the Director of Engineering and collaborate with business development and sales to define requirements, plus ensure robust CFD/FEA analysis and rigorous testing

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required; MS preferred.
• Five years of experience as engineering leader, managing a new product development team.
• OEM environment experience is a plus.
• Legal right to work in the US and access export-controlled information and source code.

Responsibilities

• Advance the technological position with innovative technology integration and design for modular reusability.
• Lead the engineering design team to conceive new products with electrical, mechanical, and aeronautical engineers.
• Support CFD/FEA analyses and other design tools; define product requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Manage engineering projects to optimize performance and manufacturability while reducing development time.
