The City of New York, Transportation and Mobility division, seeks a Chief of Training to lead the USB Training Academy and oversee development of training for field officers and inspectors. This role requires strategic planning, program evaluation, and cross-agency collaboration.

The incumbent will coordinate with state and city partners, manage training materials, and ensure high standards of enforcement education and professional development across the force.

Competenze

• Four-year high school diploma or equivalent with six years of full-time criminal justice or law enforcement experience, including 18 months in a supervisory role.
• Master's degree may substitute up to one additional year of general experience; Special Patrolman status may apply.

Mansioni

• Oversee TLC USB Training Academy and manage entry-level, advanced, and in-service training for officers.
• Develop and distribute training materials; coordinate with Legal and other agencies.
• Schedule personnel for training, seminars, and ceremonies; supervise vendor contracts.
