Job summary

Tanium is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead policy and configuration management for the Endpoint Management portfolio. You will own strategy, roadmap, and execution across Windows and Linux platforms, driving migration tooling and enforceable policy at scale.

The role demands cross-functional leadership, strong communication with executives, and the ability to deliver enterprise-grade policy products that reduce risk and improve audit posture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise B2B software with 5+ years in product management for SaaS/enterprise platforms.
• Hands-on Windows policy and configuration management (Group Policy, ADMX templates, security baselines).
• Strong Linux configuration management experience and hardening controls.
• Experience owning shipping policy, compliance, or configuration management products at enterprise scale.
• Deep familiarity with endpoint management IT operations and related workflows.
• Fluent with compliance frameworks and industry baselines (CIS benchmarks) and enforceable policy.
• Experience influencing executive stakeholders and aligning on product vision.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for Tanium's endpoint policy and configuration management end to end.
• Drive the roadmap for Windows policy and configuration management, ensuring parity with traditional Group Policy infrastructure.
• Expand Linux configuration management capabilities on top of Windows foundation.
• Define and evolve migration tooling for Group Policy backups and baselines to enforce compliant policy.
• Define policy enforcement state and compliance reporting for audit and risk reduction.
• Partner with incident response and guidance capabilities to surface remediation guidance to operators.
• Document customer use cases and prioritize investments based on risk reduction and platform leverage.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales on go-to-market motions and launches.
• Build strategic customer relationships and reference architectures; track KPIs like adoption and drift.
• Leverage AI trends to shape the roadmap for self-healing, enforced endpoint configuration.
