Job summary

Tanium is seeking a Director of Product Management to own policy and configuration management for the Endpoint Management portfolio. You’ll define strategy, roadmaps, and end-to-end delivery across Windows, Linux, and macOS, unifying policy enforcement across on-prem, remote, and cloud environments.

Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success to ship trusted capabilities, drive compliance, and prove risk reduction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise B2B software with 5+ years in product management for a SaaS/enterprise platform.
• Hands-on Windows policy and configuration management experience (Group Policy, baselines, encryption).
• Strong Linux configuration management experience (hardening, host firewall, baselines).
• Proven track record shipping policy/compliance/configuration management at enterprise scale.
• Deep knowledge of endpoint IT operations and cross-team workflows (IT & Security).
• Familiarity with CIS benchmarks and vendor baselines; translate into enforceable policy.
• Experience influencing executive stakeholders to secure investment and unblock execution.
• Ability to drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, marketing, and sales.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap, and delivery for endpoint policy and configuration management end-to-end.
• Lead Windows policy and configuration management roadmap including app control and encryption.
• Expand Linux configuration management to complement Windows foundation.
• Own legacy migration tooling for Group Policy backups and security baselines.
• Define policy enforcement state and compliance reporting for audit readiness.
• Collaborate with incident response and guidance to map findings to policy and remediation.
• Document use cases and prioritize investments based on risk reduction.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales on go-to-market motions and launches.
• Cultivate strategic customer relationships and reference architectures.
• Establish KPIs: adoption, time-to-compliance, drift, and remediation rates.
