Job summary

Bevi seeks a Director of Embedded Engineering in Boston to lead hardware and firmware for Bevi machines. You will define embedded architecture, own board bring-up, drive timelines, and ensure platform consolidation across product lines.

You will manage Electrical and Firmware engineers, partner with Mechanical, Software, and Quality, and scale the team to support Bevi's roadmap while ensuring regulatory and production readiness.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• MS is a plus for advanced leadership or research responsibilities.
• Experience taking connected electromechanical products from prototype through production and sustaining them in the field.

Responsibilities

• Own the embedded system architecture across Bevi's products, including multi-board design and firmware.
• Lead EE and FW execution on new product programs from concept to production release.
• Manage health of embedded systems in the field: firmware releases, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis.
• Drive component lifecycle management and design changes to protect supply continuity and margins.
• Partner with Quality and Manufacturing on test strategy and production readiness.
• Manage and grow a team of Electrical and Firmware Engineers; build a scalable team.
