GAF is seeking a Director of EHS Operations to design and implement world-class safety programs across manufacturing facilities. You will lead strategy, drive a culture of zero incidents, and ensure comprehensive governance of EHS systems while reporting to the VP of Environmental, Health and Safety.

The role requires 10 years of EHS experience with at least 5 in management, strong onboarding and training capabilities, and a commitment to regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10 years EHS experience, 5 years management of others
• Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities with a client-focused mindset
• Excellent organization and written/oral communication, including presenting technical information

• Define and execute a comprehensive EHS strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Drive a proactive safety culture with accountability across sites.
• Lead enterprise-wide EHS risk assessments and governance of safety systems.
• Oversee incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor EHS professionals and leadership in training delivery.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and governance over enterprise standards.
