Director of eCommerce

Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for e-commerce, digital marketing, and analytics? We're working with a start up in the Beauty and wellness space looking for a dynamic Director of eCommerce to join their team and drive online sales and presence to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize the Customer Journey: Lead the development and maintenance of our e-commerce platform to ensure optimal performance, user experience, and seamless navigation.
• Retention and Conversion: Manage and optimize email and SMS campaign strategies to convert new customers and retain existing ones.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, optimize sales performance, and inform strategic decisions.
• Customer Service and Operations: Oversee the customer service team to ensure best practices and fast response times, and collaborate with the operations team to align forecasts and promotional events.

Experience & Skills:

• Startup Experience: Proven experience working in a lean environment, ideally within an e-commerce team of fewer than 20 employees.
• E-commerce Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of eCommerce work experience at a company with over $10 million in annual sales on its DTC website.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with Klaviyo and eCommerce platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: High energy, capable of multitasking and context-switching in a fast-paced and ever-evolving organization.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or equivalent professional work experience.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas.
