Job description

MONSE is a New York-based luxury fashion house founded by Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, known for its irreverent approach to deconstruction and its unexpected reinterpretation of familiar silhouettes. Since its founding in 2015, MONSE has built a distinct design language that balances sophistication with a sense of disruption and ease.

As we enter our next stage of growth, we are looking for a Director of E-Commerce to own and scale our direct-to-consumer business.

The Role
  • The Director of E-Commerce will own the growth and performance of MONSE’s e-commerce business across revenue, site performance, digital merchandising, customer acquisition, retention, and clienteling.
  • This is a hands‑on role for someone who can move between strategy and execution — setting the growth plan, analyzing weekly performance, optimizing the customer journey, managing digital marketing, and identifying new opportunities to drive revenue.
  • You will work closely with the CEO, Creative Directors, Wholesale, Marketing, and Operations teams.
What You’ll Own
  • Own the e-commerce revenue plan, forecasts, budgets, and weekly performance
  • Drive improvements in conversion, AOV, traffic, repeat purchase, and overall customer experience
  • Lead digital merchandising, including product launches, assortment, inventory visibility, and sell‑through
  • Own paid acquisition strategy and external agency relationships, with a focus on profitable growth
  • Develop retention and CRM strategies across email, SMS, and other channels
  • Build MONSE’s VIC and clienteling business, including pre‑orders, appointments, and personalized outreach
  • Establish clear reporting across revenue, traffic, conversion, AOV, CAC/ROAS, retention, and product performance
  • Translate customer and performance data into actionable insights for product, marketing, and inventory decisions
  • Manage internal e-commerce resources and external partners as the business scales
What We’re Looking For
  • 5-7+ years of e-commerce, digital, or DTC experience, ideally within luxury fashion, apparel, or a premium consumer brand
  • Track record of owning and growing an e-commerce business
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce KPIs, digital merchandising, CRM, paid media, and customer analytics
  • Experience with Shopify and the broader e‑commerce technology ecosystem
  • Highly analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable working directly with data
  • Hands‑on operator who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong cross‑functional communicator with an appreciation for both creative and commercial priorities

This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership of a rapidly growing part of MONSE and help build the foundation for the brand’s next stage of growth.
