Job summary

The McLean Group is seeking a Director to lead Quality of Earnings (QofE) and financial due diligence engagements for middle-market transactions. You will own engagement delivery end to end, mentor a team of consultants and analysts, and serve as a senior contact for private equity sponsors, corporate buyers, and management teams.

Qualifications

• Eight-plus years of relevant experience in financial due diligence, QofE, transaction advisory, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong background in government contracting familiarity (DCAA, FAR, CAS) and SEC reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee QofE analyses, including adjustments and non-recurring items, ensuring quality across engagements.
• Direct financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side M&A with government contracting focus, presenting to clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop a team of consultants and analysts, overseeing workload and junior growth.
• Review and approve client deliverables, including QofE reports and due diligence memos for PE sponsors and corporate buyers.
• Collaborate with investment banking and valuation teams on integrated engagements and cross-functional deliverables.
• Drive business development by maintaining client relationships and growing opportunities in target sectors.
