Job summary

Qualifications

You will manage M&A projects from inception to completion, analyze diverse business models, and serve as a trusted advisor to sophisticated clients.

The Role

As a key member of the financial due diligence team, you will take the lead on engagements, mentor high-performing junior staff, and help shape the firm's growth trajectory. You will sharpen your financial analysis, problem-solving, and leadership skills while leveraging automation to drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Engagements: Manage financial due diligence projects through all phases, from initial scoping to final delivery.
  • Analyze & Report: Prepare and review historical and pro forma financial analyses to assess trends, identify risks, and uncover opportunities.
  • Advise Clients: Clearly communicate deal risks, issues, and opportunities through polished presentations and written reports.
  • Mentor & Develop: Supervise junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  • Technical Research: Conduct technical accounting research to evaluate the implications of key transaction issues.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Drive Innovation: Identify opportunities for internal process improvement through technology adoption and automation.
  • Support Growth: Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in audit or transaction services
  • CPA preferred
  • Strong familiarity with fundamental accounting concepts, including GAAP
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and the ability to analyze financial information and statements
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
