Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. seeks a strategic Director of Distribution to lead our North American distribution network across multiple sites and drive best-in-class fulfillment operations.

You will oversee warehousing, transportation coordination, and third-party logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of products to customers and to champion continuous improvement initiatives across the network. This role requires leadership of a geographically dispersed team, formulation of distribution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of distribution experience in network strategy and 3PL/4PL management.
• 5+ years of leadership across a global multi-site distribution network.

Responsibilities

• Change management and optimization of warehouse footprint across global operations.
• Improve service and total cost of ownership across geographies and business groups.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, supply, and logistics leaders to meet short- and long-term objectives.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse policies, processes, and technologies.
• Lead a dispersed leadership team with accountability and performance.
