Roanoke-Chowan Community College is seeking a Distance Learning lead to plan, develop, and oversee modalities for online, hybrid, and other DL classes. You will train faculty and students on the college LMS, coordinate DL initiatives, and act as the primary LMS administrator and support person for DL students.

The role involves organizing DL orientations, collaborating with LRC staff, and ensuring compliance with related policies and instructional requirements.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, or related field.
• Teaching experience in distance learning technology.
• Experience with Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, D2L Brightspace or other LMS.
• Two years of increased responsibility for academic/instructional programs in an administrative role.
• Two years of instructional experience using distance modalities.
• Experience applying accessibility principles (WCAG 2.1 AA).
• Experience with curriculum and strategic planning.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and develop modalities for distance learning classes (online, hybrid, hyflex).
• Train faculty and students on the college LMS and platforms.
• Coordinate distance learning initiatives and market them.
• Serve as primary LMS administrator and DL support for students.
• Organize DL orientations and assist LRC with tech and training.
• Ensure adherence to policies and instructional requirements.
