Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Director of Dining Services to oversee all food service operations within the community, ensuring high-quality meals, safety, and resident satisfaction. You’ll manage budgets, supervise kitchen and dining room teams, and coordinate with clinical and activities staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Ideal candidates will have a college degree in food service or hospitality management, at least eight years in the industry with supervisory experience,

Qualifications

• College degree in food service or hospitality management preferred.
• Eight years progressive experience in food service including at least three years in a supervisory role.
• Current ServSafe Certification required; obtain/hold local/state licenses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Directs food service operations within the community including food preparation, dining room operations and delivery services.
• Plans and executes entertaining dining events and themes with Activities Director and others.
• Hires, trains and manages all supervisory staff for kitchen, dining room, catering and delivery services.
• Develops department budget including purchasing and staffing expenditures; monitors budget compliance.
• Networks with Regional Food Service Directors to improve operations and reduce costs.
