Unidine, Geneva, IL, seeks a Dining Services Director to lead the food and beverage operation, align with Compass Community Living strategy, and ensure high resident and client satisfaction while achieving financial goals.

You will oversee budgeting, cost controls, and operational excellence, guiding on-site leadership to deliver best-in-class hospitality and a positive work environment for the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of direct foodservice operational management experience.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, cost controls, and presentation.
• Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable.
• Strong supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across levels.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operating strategy aligned with client business strategy.
• Own the on-site leadership accountability for service quality and financial results.
• Oversee safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Lead staff meetings and pre-meal briefings to ensure alignment.
• Monitor resident and client satisfaction metrics and drive improvements.
• Coach and mentor team for professional growth and mission-driven culture.
