Job Details Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00

Job Description

As the Director of Digital Marketing, your mission is to develop and support digital marketing strategies that promote the BH brands and communities. You will build a vision, set clear goals, and chart a path forward. You are a collaborative, hands-on leader capable of driving initiatives to completion. You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and work closely with your team. You are a strategic thinker who can see both the big picture and details, gain stakeholder buy-in, and execute effectively. Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversee digital marketing strategies, efforts, and teams across all digital channels (website, SEO, paid media, digital content) within the BH portfolio.
  • Develop, plan, and implement digital marketing strategies across channels.
  • Set digital marketing goals and establish metrics to track, measure, and report on performance.
  • Manage and support reporting for campaigns, assessing ROI and KPIs.
  • Manage digital marketing channels and budgets, optimizing performance to meet goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop annual budgets and recommend adjustments based on property performance.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and share knowledge with the team.
  • Evaluate marketing opportunities, emerging technologies, and industry trends to guide business decisions; develop business cases for partnerships or strategies.
  • Lead and manage a team of digital marketing professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor changes in the marketing environment and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Support corporate business development, including pitch materials and participation in meetings.
  • Maintain relationships with vendor partners to ensure effective platform use.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5+ in a leadership role.
  • 5+ years in multifamily or B2C marketing.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and autonomous work style.
  • Familiarity with modern digital marketing practices and success metrics.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups.

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Google Analytics (GA4) and Ads Certifications (Search and Display).
  • Experience managing successful digital campaigns.
  • Proficiency with Facebook Ads, Google Tag Manager, SEO tools (SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs).
  • Knowledge of website design and information architecture.
  • Experience with reporting tools (Looker, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of APIs and data feeds.
  • Previous experience in property management industry.

Work Schedule: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, or as needed. Travel may be required.
