HMR Veterans Services in Walterboro, SC, seeks a Certified Dietary Manager to lead the Dietary Department and ensure high‑quality nutritional care for residents. You will supervise staff, assist the dietitian, plan menus, and manage costs while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited dietetic training program approved by the American Dietetic Association.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Training and experience in cost control, food management, and diet therapy.
• Current CDM or RD credential as required by state regulations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Dietary Department to ensure high‑quality nutritional care.
• Assist the Registered Dietitian in planning, organizing, developing, and directing daily operations.
• Ensure nutritional services comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

What You'll Do

• As a Certified Dietary Manager, you will help lead the daily operations of our Dietary Department to ensure Veterans receive high-quality nutritional care. Responsibilities include:


• Assisting the Registered Dietitian in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the daily operations of the Dietary Department


• Ensuring nutritional services are provided in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations


• Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary food service environment


• Supervising dietary staff and supporting efficient department operations

• Promoting quality resident care through safe and effective nutritional services
