Coda Search is partnering with an established financial software company to hire a Director of DevOps Engineering. Candidates must live within a reasonable commute of the northeast Atlanta suburbs for two onsite days per week. Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, release engineering, or software engineering.
• Proven people leader with 3+ years managing DevOps/engineering teams.
• Hands-on in Microsoft Azure and production workloads.
• Experience designing CI/CD architecture at scale with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes production experience.
• Ability to define release cadence, versioning, and change controls.
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC.
• Change agent with ability to modernize environments.

Responsibilities

• Own release management across engineering teams, including cadence, versioning, and production change controls.
• Architect CI/CD pipelines and standardize tooling across teams.
• Lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives on Azure using Terraform or equivalent.
• Modernize deployments with progressive delivery, blue/green, and canary strategies.
• Embed DevSecOps by building automated security checks into pipelines.
• Run Kubernetes workloads and support containerized deployments.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and QA on release readiness and incident learning.
• Develop and coach a team of 6–7 DevOps engineers.
