Beyond Finance is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team, focusing on AWS infrastructure and containerized environments. You will help deploy cloud resources via Infrastructure as Code and support a GitOps model to improve reliability and security.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong IaC knowledge (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm), and experience with AWS services like ECS/EKS, S3, and RDS. The role includes on-call rotation and a base salary in the stated range.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm).

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with experience in AWS and containerized environments. Our team runs infrastructure as a software project, deploying cloud resources using Infrastructure As Code and a GITOPS model. We leverage best in class tools, and press to eliminate entire classes of problems, rather than execute one off remediations.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE role.
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm).
• A solid DevOps/SDLC mindset, with willingness to grow into project ownership.
• Experience with AWS and its core services (ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (AWS CodePipeline, Spacelift, CircleCI).
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes.
• Good debugging, monitoring, and triage skills.
• A track record of following through on assigned tasks and projects.

What You'll Do

• Support and help maintain our cloud infrastructure, focusing on AWS services.
• Help implement and maintain our Continuous Delivery pipelines
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, under the guidance of senior team members.
• Monitor system performance and help troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support application performance and scalability efforts.
• Help implement and follow security best practices across our cloud environment.
• Contribute to a high-quality codebase through code reviews, following best practices, with clean documentation.
• Execute documented operational tasks (runbooks, standard maintenance procedures, routine deployments) accurately and reliably.
• Rotating on-call duties

The base annual salary range is listed below. This role is eligible for additional incentives, including an annual bonus.
