Job summary

Brown University seeks a Director of Development for Academic Initiatives-Diversity and Inclusion to serve as the Advancement liaison to the Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity. The role manages a portfolio of 65–75 major gift prospects and donors capable of giving $100,000+ and drives strategies for major gifts in Brown’s comprehensive campaign.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Six to ten years of related fundraising experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fundraising experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Advancement liaison to the Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity (OIED).
• Manage a portfolio of 65–75 major gift prospects and donors capable of giving $100,000+.
• Develop solicitation strategies and close major and principal gifts aligned with Brown’s priorities.
• Prepare reports and provide data for Advancement and university leadership.
