Job summary

Thread is seeking a Director of Development to own fundraising strategy across individual giving, foundations, corporations, and government funding. You will report to the EVP of Involvement and drive annual and multi-year plans with the CEO and senior leaders.

You’ll manage a diverse donor portfolio, coach a development team, and partner with the Board and volunteers to expand fundraising capacity. Data and compelling community stories will showcase impact to inspire investment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible fundraising leadership, with a record of closing major gifts, foundation grants, and corporate partnerships.
• Experience designing comprehensive strategies that produce measurable growth.
• A leader who coaches people well and builds systems that last.
• Comfort with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and turning data into action.
• A relationship-centered leader who lives our core competencies: Show all the way up, Fail forward, Treat relationships as wealth, and Learn from all voices.

About the role

The Director of Development will own Thread’s fundraising strategy and system across individual giving, foundations, corporations, and government funding. Reporting to our EVP of Involvement, you’ll:
