Job summary

Equinix is seeking a senior platform leader to own the developer platform, the IDE, copilots, and the developers’ voice. You will establish scalable, secure foundations and drive AI-assisted development across engineering teams.

In this role, you will lead quality engineering initiatives, implement canonical test stacks, and shorten feedback loops to accelerate delivery while maintaining system reliability and developer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years leading teams.
• Proven experience building developer platforms, tools, or frameworks at scale.
• Deep fluency in modern IDEs, cloud dev environments, and AI‑assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Own the developer platform, the IDE, the copilots, and the developer's voice.
• Build scalable, secure, and performant foundations every engineering team relies on.
• Lead the Quality Engineering CoE with canonical test automation, environments, and shift-left practices.
• Develop and implement AI-assisted testing capabilities to reduce manual effort.
• Shape platform strategy based on feedback from engineers and onboarding improvements.
