Job summary

Patelco Credit Union is seeking a Director, Deposits to lead strategy, pricing, and portfolio management for its member-focused deposit franchise. You will own deposit growth, profitability, and funding objectives while partnering with executive leadership to align with enterprise goals.

As a senior leader, you will develop plans, mentor teams, and drive cross-functional initiatives across Treasury, Finance, Lending, Marketing, and Risk to enhance member value and financial performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in banking, financial services, or related fields.
• Leadership of strategic initiatives with enterprise impact.
• Strong ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of deposit portfolio management and funding strategies.
• Experience building strategic business cases and presenting to leadership.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with deposit product strategy, pricing, and profitability analysis.
• Experience leading digital modernization or enterprise growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization's deposit strategy to drive growth and profitability.
• Lead annual and multi-year plans for the deposit portfolio.
• Evaluate market dynamics, member trends, and competitive landscape.
• Oversee deposit product management, pricing, promotions, and lifecycle.
• Partner with Treasury, Finance, Lending, Marketing, and Risk to align strategy.
• Coach and develop a high-performing deposits team.
• Present portfolio performance and recommendations to executives and boards.
