Patelco Credit Union in Dublin HQ seeks an experienced Director of Consumer Lending to lead direct and indirect portfolios, oversee credit policy, and drive profitability. You will manage cross-functional programs, mentor staff, and partner with senior leaders to reach growth goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in customer service and consumer lending.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience.
• Ability to travel to branches; Driver’s license required.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of Loan Origination systems such as Summit or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction of consumer lending portfolios (non-real estate).
• Develop and implement procedures for new products or services and manage credit policy.
• Maintain enhancements of loan origination system and integration with Patelco apps.
• Ensure credit policy compliance and automate underwriting processes.
• Improve profitability through product mix and pricing management.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to achieve loan growth goals.
• Coach and develop staff; mentor and provide resources to achieve results.
