Job summary

UP Partnership seeks a Director of Data & Information Management to lead the Data function and drive shared measurement across early childhood to workforce. You will govern data definitions, build core data products, and connect data to partner action.

With 7+ years in education data and a master's, you’ll manage external work, ensure FERPA/privacy, and foster collaboration with districts, higher ed and community partners to turn evidence into impact.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years in education data, institutional research or related field.
• Masters degree required; equivalent experience considered.
• Three+ years supervising staff or managing external providers.
• Direct experience with school district student data and leaders.
• Strong knowledge of K-12 measures and data processes.
• Experience building shared measurement systems and dashboards.
• Experience protecting confidential information and data sharing.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation and data storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for the shared measurement system and indicators.
• Own dashboards, scorecards and partner reports lifecycle.
• Define requirements, QA standards and user feedback processes.
• Ensure data products are accurate, accessible, actionable and equitable.
• Lead data-to-action cycles with partners and document results.
• Maintain data governance, privacy, and data-sharing agreements.
