Job summary

Save the Children in the US seeks a Director, Data Support to lead the Data Support team, ensuring high-quality data operations that enable marketing, fundraising, and governance initiatives. You will manage analysts, partner with data infrastructure, and align with stakeholders to deliver timely data services.

The role emphasizes data quality, process optimization, and strategic decision support, with hybrid work across offices in Washington DC, Fairfield CT, or Lexington KY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of relevant data-management experience.
• Experience leading a data management or data services team.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
• Experience with capacity and resource management and working with business teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Proficiency with Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence, including dashboards and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature the Data Support team to deliver high-quality data services.
• Engage stakeholders and manage expectations regarding data priorities and service delivery.
• Collaborate with data infrastructure and engineering teams to improve workflows and automation.
• Contribute to team strategy, roadmaps, budgeting, and vendor engagements.
• Support data literacy, governance, and compliance initiatives across the Agency.
• Monitor KPIs and report performance to leadership.
