Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking an enterprise data security leader to govern data protection programs across the organization. The role partners with Technology, Legal, Privacy and Compliance to align security objectives with business goals and regulatory requirements.

You will own data loss prevention, data classification, and data integrity controls across on-premises and cloud environments, translating risk into prioritized plans and directing budgets and resources accordingly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, or related field and 10 years of experience in Information Security, Data Security, or related disciplines, or14 years equivalent experience
• 5 years of leadership or people-management experience
• Deep understanding of data protection, Data Loss Prevention, data classification, and data integrity concepts
• Knowledge of data security controls across on-premises and cloud environments
• Oversee budgets and resource allocation supporting enterprise data security objectives
• Translate data security risk into business-relevant priorities and decisions
• Ensure data security investments align to risk reduction and regulatory obligations

Responsibilities
