Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a senior data security leader to govern enterprise data protection and risk management. The role partners with Technology, Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams to align controls with business goals across on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities include directing DLP, data classification, and data integrity programs while managing budgets and resources to support regulatory obligations and a risk-conscious culture at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, MIS, or related field; 10+ years of information security/data security experience
• 5 years of leadership or people-management experience
• Deep understanding of data protection, Data Loss Prevention, data classification, and data integrity concepts
• Knowledge of data security controls across on-premises and cloud environments
• Oversee budgets and resource allocation supporting enterprise data security objectives
• Translate data security risk into business-relevant priorities and decisions
• Ensure data security investments align to risk reduction and regulatory obligations

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data security governance and alignment with business objectives
• Oversee DLP, data classification, data security management, and data integrity controls across on-premises and cloud environments
