Job summary

Georgia State University’s Office of the Registrar seeks an Associate Registrar (Director) to lead data quality management for student records and related functions. This role emphasizes compliance with laws such as SAVE and residency verification, and requires collaboration across university units and external partners to improve documentation and reporting.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, present concise reports, and drive process improvements in a dynamic academic environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of supervisory/management experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience using SQL and other data analysis tools to assess curriculum records and enrollment data.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains a vision for an inclusive college data quality process and collaborate with offices to plan activities.
• Prepares and presents accurate reports and communicates with employees and customers at all levels.
• Partners with external organizations to improve data quality and tools for managing student data.
• Streamline processes for compliance and records management; develop training for staff.
• Develop and maintain proactive reporting tools for residency, lawful presence, and waiver management.
• Manage cross-functional teams and projects related to data clarity across university units.
