Job summary
Pfizer is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to own the design, build, and operation of data pipelines that connect Medical Affairs AI solutions to enterprise data sources. This hands-on role partners with architecture to implement RAG and vector-database patterns, ensuring governed, production-grade data access for AI capabilities.
The Director will lead data integration patterns, work with Build Engineers and Product teams, and ensure privacy/compliance across pipelines in a hybrid US-based
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Analytics or related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on data engineering or integration experience.
- Advanced SQL and ETL/ELT pipeline development experience.
- Experience with Snowflake or equivalent data platforms and data governance.
- API design/integration (REST/GraphQL) for backend data sources.
- Experience with AI/ML data access patterns including RAG.
Responsibilities
- Design and build data pipelines and integration patterns for enterprise systems.
- Create reusable data pipelines and ensure data readiness for AI solutions.
- Define and enforce data pipeline coding standards and governance.
- Monitor latency and ensure timely data delivery for AI use cases.
- Collaborate with architecture, product management and Build Engineers.
