Job summary

Pfizer is seeking an Innovation, Data & Analytics Team Data Engineer to build and operate production data pipelines powering AI-based workflows. You will implement the canonical data model and ensure timely, high-quality data for analytics and agentic systems.

The role focuses on pipeline reliability across Databricks, Snowflake, and data integrations, with collaboration across data science, governance, and engineering in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field with strong data engineering foundations.
• Experience with healthcare/pharma data environments is preferred.
• Strong SQL and Python; cloud data platforms experience required.
• Experience designing and orchestrating ETL/ELT pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines against the data model and standards.
• Own production reliability of the data platform including monitoring and incidents.
• Implement canonical data models in production and map OMOP/HEDIS where applicable.
• Support agentic workflows with clean, timely, structured data.
• Collaborate with data and analytics teams to ensure data needs are met.
