Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Director, Data Integration Engineer to own the design, build, and operation of data pipelines linking Medical Affairs AI solutions to enterprise data sources. You will ensure reliable access to data, govern data quality, and support scalable AI-enabled products.

The role partners with Solution Architecture and Build Engineers to implement RAG/vector database patterns, monitor data readiness, and drive continuous improvement in data platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on data engineering or integration experience, including building data pipelines and APIs.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT development.
• Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake) and API-based access.
• Experience with API design (REST/GraphQL) for data sources.
• Familiar with data governance, privacy, and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines and integration patterns connecting enterprise systems to AI/analytics platforms.
• Develop and maintain reusable data pipelines to support multiple AI solutions.
• Enforce coding standards and align with data models and catalogs.
• Monitor latency and ensure timely data delivery for AI use cases.
• Collaborate with Solution Architecture, Build Engineers, and Product teams on data readiness.
