Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Director of Data Engineering to lead a team of data engineers, analysts, and data scientists. You will set the analytics strategy, own data platform governance, and partner with senior leadership to drive data-driven decisions across the organization.

You will oversee ingestion, transformation, and delivery of Product Org data, while contributing as an individual contributor on critical pipelines. This role requires strategic leadership and hands-on technical depth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a data-related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• Advanced certifications in data analytics, data management, or project management are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of data and analytics projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytics projects.
• Set data platform strategy, ingestion architecture, and data contracts across product applications.
• Write production code and review pipeline designs as an IC.
• Represent data needs with stakeholders and negotiate upstream contracts.
