Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Director of Construction Management to lead and develop our data center team of Project Managers and oversee the delivery of PM services on major projects and programs. The role emphasizes service excellence, growth of the PM offering, client engagement and market outreach.

The successful candidate will be a driven leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to align strategy with our Business Plan and drive a culture of learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of construction PM experience.
• 2+ years leading large multi-discipline teams in a consulting environment.
• Proven track record in PM service delivery for clients.
• Strong business development ambition and growth experience.
• Experience in sectors: commercial real estate, data centers, life sciences, etc.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project management team to deliver on all accountabilities.
• Oversee client communications and PM services oversight.
• Lead research related to construction market conditions and data.
• Produce thought leadership reports with insights for the market.
• Direct strategic and operational management of PM services across sectors.
• Set strategy and ambition with the team aligned to the Business Plan.
• Grow and develop people, promoting learning, respect and inclusivity.
• Knowledge and process improvement across internal systems and tools.
• Coordinate audits and ensure quality standards and ISO compliance.
• Develop plans with KPIs and performance measures tied to company goals.
