Job summary

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa seeks a Director of Cybersecurity to lead the development and execution of the organization’s cybersecurity strategy across Morongo and affiliated tribal enterprises. You will oversee threat monitoring, incident response, policy development, and risk management while collaborating with IT, Gaming, and executive leadership.

The role requires deep knowledge of industry standards (NIST, PCI DSS), strong leadership, and the ability to translate complex security concepts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of eight years in cybersecurity with at least five in leadership.
• Experience in highly regulated environments (gaming, hospitality, financial services) preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry standards.
• Directs cybersecurity operations including threat monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and data protection.
• Establishes cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
• Identifies and prioritizes cybersecurity risks and recommends safeguards and corrective actions.
• Oversees continuous monitoring of security systems, logs, and threat intelligence; leads incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Develops and manages cybersecurity training, department budget, and vendor relationships.
