The role leads security operations, governance, and incident response, ensuring compliance with NYSGC, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001 while mentoring a growing security team and communicating risks to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or information security, including leadership roles in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards (NIST, ISO, PCI DSS).
• Certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
• Lead enterprise security architecture across network, IAM, cloud, and application security.
• Oversee security operations, incident detection, response, and post-incident remediation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with NYSGC, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and data privacy laws.
• Lead incident response planning, tabletop exercises, and crisis communications.
