Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking a Director of Culinary Development to lead research, testing, and implementation of innovative dishes and programs across locations. You will mentor chefs, plan menus, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive culinary experience, and a passion for developing people and programs in a dynamic healthcare setting. Extensive travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of five years of progressive culinary experience in high-volume operations.
• Experience in menu development and catering operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary excellence and set standards across divisions.
• Mentor senior chefs and develop teams in multiple regions.
• Plan menus for daily offerings and seasonal specials.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Marketing, and Business Development.
• Drive sustainability initiatives company-wide.
