Job summary

Veeva Systems seeks a strategic Director of CSV who will oversee validation programs for Veeva Vault and related systems. You will mentor leaders, shape validation governance, and drive on-time delivery under regulatory scrutiny to support GMP/GCP compliance.

Strong leadership and writing skills are essential. You will interact with Product Development, Quality, and Compliance, guiding risk-based approaches and test automation strategies in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

B.S. in engineering/sciences or related field; applicable industry experience.
10+ years in validation of enterprise software in life sciences regulated environments (GMP, GCP, GLP, GxP).
5+ years in management demonstrating leadership and resource planning.
Experience with risk-based validation and governance for AI/ML-enabled capabilities.
Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 and related GxP regulations; strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor validation program managers and team leads to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
Approve validation approaches, methods, and reports during releases of Veeva software products.
Establish risk-based validation processes and coordinate with customers and cross-functional teams.
Oversee on-shore/off-shore validation contractors to meet budgets and schedules.
Interface with Product Development, Operations, Security, and Quality to resolve validation issues.
