Job summary

Veeva Systems seeks a Director of Computer Systems Validation to lead the CSV program supporting Veeva Vault technology in a regulated life sciences context. You will mentor validation managers, drive complex validation tasks, and ensure compliance with GMP, GCP, GLP, and device regulations across releases and patches.

You will coordinate with Product Development, Operations, Security and QA/Compliance to govern AI-driven capabilities, test automation strategies, and audit preparedness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in engineering/science or related field.
• 10+ years in validation of enterprise software in life sciences regulated environments.
• Experience in risk-based validation and governance for AI/ML capabilities.
• Managerial experience (5+ years) leading teams and budgeting.
• Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication for regulatory contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor validation teams to deliver on time and budget.
• Review/approve validation approaches and reports during releases.
• Establish risk-based validation processes aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee on-site and off-site validation contractors.
• Interface with Product Development, Operations, Security, and QA/Compliance.
