Job summary

Veeva Systems, Inc. is seeking a Director of Computer Systems Validation to lead and mentor multi-site teams ensuring compliance with GMP, GCP, and quality standards.

The role focuses on validation of Veeva Vault and internal systems, with emphasis on risk-based approaches, automation, and AI-driven capabilities. You will collaborate with Product Development, Operations, Security, and Compliance to deliver high-quality validation across releases, patches, and changes, while preparing for

Qualifications

• BS in engineering/sciences or related field and applicable industry experience.
• 10+ years validating enterprise software in life sciences regulated environments (GxP).
• Experience with AI/ML validation, governance, and risk-based strategies.
• 5+ years of managerial experience leading validation teams.
• Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 and related GMP/GCP requirements.
• Experience with regulatory audits and validation documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead/mentor validation program managers and team leads to deliver on-time validation for Veeva products and internal systems.
• Review/approve validation approaches, methods, and reporting during product releases.
• Establish risk-based validation processes aligned to project scope and regulatory expectations.
• Oversee on-/off-shore validation contractors to meet budgets and timelines.
• Act as executive interface with Product Development, Operations, Security, and QA/Compliance.
• Support planning of periodic product and internal system reviews.
• Execute additional projects to ensure cross-product validation compliance.
