Job summary

Veeva, a leading life sciences SaaS provider, seeks a Director of Computer Systems Validation in a remote-capable role based in Boston, MA. You will lead a global validation program, mentor leaders, and drive validation strategies for GxP-compliant systems and AI-enabled capabilities.

The role emphasizes delivering complex validation tasks, maintaining regulatory alignment, and coordinating with Product Development, Operations, Security, and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or sciences or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of validation experience in life sciences software
• Experience with risk-based validation and AI/ML governance

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a validation team to ensure regulatory compliance
• Deliver validation projects on time and within budget
• Review and approve validation approach, method and reporting (VPP, VIA, VSR)
• Establish risk-based validation processes and coordinate with customers and stakeholders
• Oversee on-shore and off-shore validation contractors
• Act as executive interface between Product Development, Operations, Security, and QA/Compliance
• Support planning and execution of periodic product reviews
• Execute other projects to ensure compliance across product lines
